How to make bread uttapam or bread pancakes
Bread pan cake or bread uttapam is instant uttapam recipe.Its easy to make as well.No fermentation is required for making batter of this uttapam. When there are leftover breads and nobody wants to eat breads ,bread uttapam is very good option to do makeover of leftover breads.
It tastes really good and  bunch of breads will get finished easily after making this bread uttapam.
Any  vegetables can be added in bread uttapam to make it more healthy and it goes well  with choice of chutaney or sauce as well.
Try this quick uttapam for breakfast or any meal of the day.



Cooking time: 45  min
Ingredients:
  • Bread slices 4
  • Semolina 1 cup
  • Curd 1 cup
  • Tomato chopped 1
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Green chili finely chopped 2
  • Water 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves small bunch
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil
  • Cumin powder 1 tea spoon
Directions to cook:
1. Add Semolina in curd and water mixture.Keep it aside for 1/2 hour.It gives sour taste of curd to mixture.
2. Remove bread crest and make small pieces of bread.
3.Add bread pieces grinder and grind to get bread crumbs.
4.Take a bowl and mix bread crumbs and semolina curd mixture.
5.Add finely chopped tomatoes, onions ,coriander leaves and chilies in above mixture and mix well.
6.Add cumin powder and salt as per taste and water to get enough consistency for making uttapam It should be more thick than batter of dosa.
7. Heat tawa (Non stick pan )apply oil on it to grease .
8.Pour 1 bowl of batter on pan and move in circular direction to make pan cake /uttapam.
9. Roast bread uttapam on both sides apply oil if needed on other side.
10. Serve hot bread uttapama / bread pan cake with any chutaney of choice.
