Potatoes and peas paratha

How to make  Potato peas paratha / Aloo matar paratha
Potato paratha / aloo paratha is one of the most popular breakfast or meal dish. Wide number of food joints and restaurants serve aloo paratha in northern parts of india.I'm posting here recipe of potato and peas stuffed paratha.Its winter and markets are loaded with fresh green peas everyehere, so i tempt to make peas dishes and thus i attempted to make potato peas paratha. It goes well with curd or any type of raita.I pack  this yummy flat bread  for lunch box of my kids and its loved by them.

Cooking time :60 min

·      Wheat flour  2 cups
·      Potatoes 4
·      Green peas ¼ cup
·      Garlic cloves 6
·      Green Chili finely crushed  4 (Optional)
·      Coriander leaves finely chopped small bunch
·      Cumin powder 1/2 tea Spoon
·      Coriander powder 1/2 tea spoon
·      Turmeric powder  1 pinch
·      Ajwain /carom seeds 1 tea Spoon
·      Oil 2 tb spoon
·      Salt as per taste
·      Water

Directions To Cook:

1.       Mix wheat flour , salt and water to knead soft  dough. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
2.      Pressure cook potatoes in pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles or till it cooked. 
3.       Peel of the covers and mash boiled potatoes. Keep it aside.
4.      Boil water in a pan and add green peas in it and let it boil for 5 minutes.
5.      Switch off the gas and drain water and keep green peas on strainer to remove excess water from it. 
6.      Heat oil in pan and add cumin and mustard seeds in it.
7.       once seeds splutter add mashed potatoes in it .
8.      Add green peas in pan and mix well.
9.      Add salt ,cumin & coriander powder ,turmeric in potatoes and saute for 3-4 minutes.
10.   Cook potato and peas stuffing for 2-3 minutes more and switch off the gas.
11.   Make circular ball of potatoes and peas stuffing.
12.   Roll circular shaped roti of wheat dough and stuff potato peas ball in it.
13.   Close all ends of dough and roll paratha by applying very less pressure.
14.   Roast  aloo peas parathas on both sides on low flame and apply oil.
15.   Serve  Aloo peas parathas  with butter  or curd.
