Ragi porridge or nachani satv
Nachani satva or ragi porridge is very nutritious for kids and elderly too.Ragi is very rich in iron , rich in calcium , Amino acid and antioxidants. Ragi has high dietary fiber content which promotes better digestion . The high calcium and iron contents in ragi is useful for the bone growth and overall development of the infant so it is used during weaning. Specially-processed ragi powders for infants are available .I used ready made Nachani satva / ragi powder to make this porridge.

Ingredients
:
- Nachani satva/ragi powder 2 tea Spoon
- Milk /water 1 cup
- Sugar 1 tea Spoon
- Cardamom powder to sprinkle
Directions
to Cook:
- Mix nachani satva(Ragi powder) powder in milk while stirring so that there should not be lumps.Water instead of milk can be used for babies who are younger than 6 months.
- Add this nachani satva mixture and sugar in a pan.
- Boil this mixture on low flame.It takes 5 to 6 minutes for Ragi to get cooked.
- Keep on stirring continuously so that it won't stick to bottom of pan.Ragi porridge is ready to serve.
