How to make masala puri
Puri
is very famous type of bread across almost all parts of india. Puris
are  very easy to make and tasty too.It can be used for any meal time
in a day.Its favorite breakfast and Lunch box dish  for many .
By adding extra ingredients in wheat flour many different type of puri can be made. Masala puri is one such type of puri which is made using wheat flour and additional spices.As its spicy in taste it goes well with any pickle or sauce.No need of side dish like any vegetable curry to be prepared along with this puri.It can be used as one dish snack item so good for travel time.And it has very good shelf life as well.I make this masala puri for my daughters lunch box and she finishes it happily. Any grated vegetable like carrot ,cabbage,boiled potato can also be added while making dough of puri, to make more nutritious puris.

Ingredients:
- Atta /wheat flour 2 cups
- Besan /bengal gram flour 1 tb spoon
- Salt as per taste
- Sesame seeds 1 tea spoon
- Coriander leaves finely chopped
- Chili powder 1 tea spoon
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tea spoon
- Garlic cloves 8-9 crushed
- Cumin seeds powder 1 tea spoon
- Carom seeds powder 1 tea spoon
- Oil for deep frying
- Water for kneading dough
Directions
to cook:
1.
 Mix all dry ingredients except oil in atta / wheat flour .
2.
 Add water in wheat flour slowly to make firm dough for making
puris.Dough for making puri should be harder than normal chapati
dough to get soft puri.
3.
 Keep it aside covered with wet cloth for half an hour.
4.
 Heat oil in kadhai.
5.
 Make small round shape puris . For forming exact round shape puris
make big thick round chapati using chakala belan. 
6.
Cut  chapati using round shaped bowl.In this way all puris will be of
exact same size and it takes less time to make puris in this way.Or
make small puris by rolling dough.
7.
 Deep fry  puris in oil on medium flame.
8.
 Masala puri is ready  ,let it cool  or  serve  hot  with  any 
chutaney ,pickle or tomato sauce.
