While buying toys for kids

The toys and playthings your child has available to her can shape her development in important ways. 1. Durability of toys

Delicate toys can be broken easily and young kids can put broken parts of toys in mouth,So durable toys are more good .Also avoid toys with sharp edges or that have toxic paints because toddlers have a tendency to put everything into their mouths. A toddler's concept of play usually involves bashing the toy about a few times and maybe even hurling it across the room for good measure.Balls, teddy's ,pulling toys.

2. Toys that can be used in a variety of ways and purpose

Balls,Blocks, interlocking blocks, nesting blocks or cups, and toys for sand and water play .A ball is a toddler's delight. they can kick it, throw it, bounce it, roll it and crawl after it. It is portable and she will be delighted if she can carry a large one.

3. Toys that don't get redundant with age

Instead of buying toys only for particular age , its better to invest in things that can be played with at later stages too. As kids get bored with toys in a few days time, so why not store them up and get them out after some period so that it can be used and played with again. Trains,doll house,Dolls , plastic figures or toy animals,vehicles,stuff toys,Cars.

4. Toys that encourage exploration and imagination

Puzzles,shape sorter blocks. kids need a chance to figure something out on their own—or with a little coaching—build their logical thinking skills and help them become persistent problem-solvers. They also help children develop spatial relations skills (understanding how things fit together), hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills (using the small muscles in the hands and fingers). While buying puzzles for toddlers ,look for those that have small knobs or handles attached to the puzzle pieces.

5. Household things

Kids need change .So why not to give household things like cups,spoons,bowls ,paper as a toy to them.Real things help them to get in touch with real world. Kids are eager to grow up and be capable like elders so they will enjoy cooking ,cleaning like mommy , reading newspaper like daddy.

6. Toys that help your child's imagination

Dress-up clothing, blocks, toy food and plastic plates, Play dough  like these toys help child to imagine .While making  toys or setting these toys , pretend play  help kids to try and learn new things. Which improves their learning ability.
