How to make poha/ pohe
Poha(beaten rice) is mainly served as breakfast.It has its many different version.Kande/onion poha is famous recipe in maharashtra. Kande/onions  poha is a must to have delicacy in western parts of india and it makes healthy snacks too.
This poha has a taste of tangy lemons and slight sweetness of sugar as well which makes it mix of sweet and tangy .Posting here no oil poha recipe.Its extremely delicious while serving serving purpose of less calories diet.Oil in this recipe is optional as it tastes good without oil as well.


 Cooking time :20 min
Ingredients:
Poha (beaten rice ) 2 cup
Green chili 4 finely chopped
Onions 2 finely chopped
Peanuts 1 table Spoon
Coriander leaves small bunch
Curry leaves 7-8
Lemons   1
Turmeric powder 1/4 tea spoon
Oil 2 tb spoon
Salt as per taste
Water
Directions To Cook:
  1. Wash poha with water and drain all the water.Keep it aside.
  2. Heat kadhai /heavy bottom pan and pour oil in it.
  3. Add cumin and mustard seeds in oil.As seeds crackle add finely chopped green chili and saute it.
  4. Add finely chopped onions ,curry leaves in oil and saute for a minute.
  5. Add peanuts in kadhai and mix all ingredients.
  6. Add 1/4 tea spoon of turmeric powder in kadhai while stirring.
  7. Add soaked poha and saute all ingredients to mix well.
  8. Cover kadhai with lid and cook poha for 7-8 minutes.
  9. Switch off gas and keep poha covered for few minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish poha with chopped coriander leaves and chopped lemon while serving.
