How to make aam panna /Kairi panha / unriped mango drink
Aam panna or raw/unripe mango drink is most popular drink made in summer. It tastes tangy ,sweet and perfect option to cool your body in hot summer. Aam panna made using unripe/green mangoes which are easily available in this season.
Along with taste aam panna has many health benefits also.
Drinking unriped /raw mango juice prevents the excessive loss of sodium chloride and iron during summer due to excessive sweating. Which is very common health problem in hot summer.
It also helps to prevent excess loss of water from the body and helps to quench thirst.
As raw mangoes are rich in vitamin C it helps to beat the heat and boosts immunity .
Make this refreshing raw mango cold drink at home using following recipe and store it in refrigerator. It can be used for few days easily.
Instead of using sugar for making aam panna jagery can be used.Just make a powder of jaggery before adding it in aam panna.Honey also can be used as sweetener in aam panna and it tastes very different.Enjoy summer with cool cool aam panna.

Preparation time:30 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Ingredients:
  • Raw /unripe  mango 4
  • Sugar (Powdered) 1  cup
  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tea spoon
  • Black salt 1/4 tea spoon
  • Water 2 cups
  • Ice cubes 2(optional)
Directions to cook: 
1. Wash and pressure cook raw/green  mangoes in pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles with some water.
2.After cooling  remove covers of mangoes and take all pulp out from cooked mangoes.
3.Grind raw mango pulp ,sugar and cardamom powder in grinder to get smooth pulp of raw mangoes.
4.Aam panna/ kairi panhe  is ready .Store it in air tight container in refrigerator.It can be used for few days.
5. For making aam panna drink :
Take 1 tb spoon or as required  of Aam panna and mix with 1 glass of water.
6. Sprinkle pinch of black salt and mix well.
7. Add ice cubes  in a glass and serve  perfect thirst quencher Aam panna.
