How to make  Mugore / Green gram lentil fritters
After long gap from food blogging ,today i started doing the thing which i like most and that is food blogging. Because of shifting house i couldn't  cook and shoot  dishes  for hellomomy. I missed cooking and shooting so much .But finally could get time and today i am posting this easy to make recipe : Mugore or green gram fritters . This is basically snacks recipe and made on festivals also in maharashtra. As its made from moong daal its called as mugore in marathi.
Mugore is  tasty and healthy version of  fritters.Green gram is rich source of vitamins and proteins. I make this protein packed fritters as a snacks for my kids. Green chilies and coriander leaves make it  tastier. Try making these easy and quick mugore or type of fritters as a starter or snacks for any occasion or party and everyone will love it.



Cooking time : 30 min
Ingredients:
     Green gram (Moong daal ) 2 cups
     Onions 1 chopped
     Coriander leaves chopped small bunch
     Green Chili  5-6
     Cumin powder 1/2 tea spoon
     Carom seeds (Ajwain) powder 1/2 tea spoon
     Turmeric powder 1 pinch
     Garlic 6-7 cloves
     Salt as per taste
     Oil for deep frying
     Water

Directions to cook:
1. Soak moong daal / green gram  in water for 5-6  hours.
2.Drain water from soaked daal and grind it in grinder with green chilies ,garlic cloves ,coriander leaves and some water.
3. Heat 2 tea spoon oil in pan and pour it in above green gram mixture.
4. Add  chopped onions , salt , cumin powder , carom powder , turmeric in mixture and  mix well.
5. Heat oil in kadhai / pan for  frying Mugore /fritters.
6.Take  spoon  full of  mixture  and  deep  fry  it  in oil on low flame.
7. Fry from other side as well , drain oil and transfer Mugore / fritters  to dry container.
8. Serve Mugore /fritters  with  ketchup or any choice of chutney and tea.
