Moong dosa



Dosa made from rice and urad dal is most common dosa available across almost all parts of india. Mooong dosa is type of dosa made with different ingredients.
No need of fermentation for batter used in this dosa. Its very nutritious as soaked whole moong are used for making it. It is yummy option for instant breakfast as it takes very less time for making it. And good option for light meals as well.
Any grated vegetables like cabbage , carrots, flowers ,onions can be added in this dosa . Vegetables make this dosa more tasty and nutritious too.Serve this dosa with any choice of chutaney or sauce.

Cooking time:45 min
Ingredients :
  • Whole moong 2 cups,
  • Green chili chopped 4,
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped,
  • Garlic cloves 4,
  • Cumin seeds powder 1 tea Spoon,
  • Salt as per taste ,
  • Water.
Directions to cook:
  1. Soak moong in enough water for 7 to 8 hours .
  2. Grind moong , chilies,coriander  leaves, garlic cloves with some water in grinder to get fine mixture.
  3. Add salt , cumin powder and adjust water in a batter to get required consistency.
  4. Heat  tawa and apply oil on it.
  5. Spread moong batter on tawa .
  6. Roast moong dosa on both sides.
  7. Moong dosa can be served with any choice of  chutaney.
