Hakka noodles

love noodles.I have seen many kids who hesitate to eat meals other
than noodles or pasta. I often cook hakka noodles on my kids demand.
There are many yummy versions of hakka noodles recipe and nothing can
beat perfectly hakka noodles blended with spices and sauce .
I
am posting simple hakka noodles recipe with as much as vegetables I
could add in it.If available I add green peas also in noodles to make
it peas hakka noodles.Enjoy making this one dish meal.
Cooking
time :45 min
Ingredients:
- Hakka noodles 2 cup
- Carrots chopped 1/2 cup
- Spring onions finely chopped 1 cup
- Spring onion greens chopped 1 tb spoon
- Beans 4 to 5
- Capsicum chopped 1
- Red chilies finely chopped 4
- Salt as per taste
- Pepper powder 1/2 tea Spoon
- Soya sauce 2 tb Spoon
- Garlic cloves 6
- Oil 2 tb spoon
- Water 4 cups
Directions To Cook:
- Keep 5 cups water in a pan on high flame.Add salt for taste and 1 tea Spoon of oil in it. Oil makes noodles non stick.
- Add haka noodles in a pan and cook as per instruction on packet.
- Once noodles gets cooked drain remaining water from the pan.Rinse noodles by cold water to stop cooking.Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.Add chopped garlic and chilies in it.
- Add spring onions,beans and carrots in a pan. Saute vegetables for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Add capsicum in a pan and saute for 3 to 4 minutes on high flame.
- Add salt and soya sauce in a vegetables while stirring.
- Add hakka noodles in a pan and keep on stir frying on high flame.
- Stirring noodles on high flame is necessary for achieving unique taste of noodles.
- Sprinkle black pepper powder on noodles.
- Mix all ingredients properly and cook for another 4-5 minutes .
- Garnish Hakka noodles with spring onion greens while serving.
