Ingredients:
- Bottle guard / kaddu grated 2 cup
- Full cream milk 1/4 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Ghee 2 tb spoon
- Cashew 4 to 5 pieces
- Almond 4 to 5 pieces
- A pinch of cardamom powder
Directions
to cook:
- Heat kadhai and add ghee in it.
- Add grated bottle guard in it and roast on low flame.
- For roasting 2 cups bottle guard at least 25 minutes required.Or roast till complete water/juice from bottle guard gets evaporated and it looks translucent.
- After roasting bottle guard / kaddu add sugar in it.
- Add full cream milk and roasted dry fruits in halawa.
- Cook bottle guard halawa for 5 to 6 more minutes.
- Sprinkle cardamom powder on halawa and switch off gas.
- Garnish with sliced dry fruits and serve bottle guard halawa warm/chilled.
