Christmas in singapore

Festivals are really important  part of life as it  gives  people an opportunity to connects with each other , celebrate and enjoy. Its christmas time and people are in celebrations mood. Christmas is the biggest celebrations here in Singapore and city gets ready to welcome dearest Santa. Every nook and corner of the city gets beautiful decoration and displays for festival and new year . I am living in  singapore  since past 6 years and yet every year I wait eagerly  to see the  christmas decorations  and mesmerizing  displays across city.
Every year its different ,beautiful  and never fail to amaze me. Actually I don’t want to  get over this  festival spirits as  I wait for this time of the year for festivals, celebrations , parties and off course holidays.It gives me an opportunity to do what i love most cooking ,taking pictures and partying with friends.

This year while visiting different christmas celebration events I was more excited than my kids , as I wanted to include the glimpses in this Christmas special post.And here we are,  I have tried to capture few moments which surely speak thousand more words than the blog post. The whole city looks beautiful like a new bride and few pictures won’t be able to describe it completely ,yet following is a minute try for doing so…I hope you will enjoy watching the photos in post .

 Singapore is city of gardens and gardens by the bay are spectacular gardens here. It  gives  visitor an opportunity of breathtaking  views of variety of plants ,flowers and trees. Gardens by the bay oragnises Christmas wonderlands and we visited it this year without fail. The Christmas wonderland's spectacular sight as colorful flowers , plants get accompanied with lights. The wonderland had number of amusement rides for children and no doubt my kids enjoyed riding on all of them. It was fun fair for them. The toy train and snow world were very much crowded. Gardens rhapsody was adding feathers to the  cap  of  Christmas wonderlands with its superb music and light. In spite of being crowded people maintain silence and queue for watching it.
 My kids didn’t want to return home from the wonderlands.Its completely different world of snow flakes, lights, santa, fun rides and angles for them.

Orchard Road is amazing for Christmas decorations , lights and displays. Its crowded during festive celebrations. Orchard road has awesome decorations and giant Christmas trees across it. Complete road gets ready to welcome christmas with giant Christmas trees , reindeers , sleighs  and snow flakes Following are few glimpses of spectacular sights.I never miss visiting orchard road during festive times and this year it was beautifully lit along with displays. There  are other  places  also with enchanting displays like Clarke Quay and VivoCity.

  

Christmas means gifts and I could see the malls/ markets are full of gifts and goodies and people are laughing , shopping , enjoying the festival spirit with their loved ones. Best events happening across city for all aged group people. Restaurants and food courts offering best ever festive meals and desserts .Malls get ready for discounts and sale on variety of products. Sorry for the late post about Christmas in Singapore . I composed it but was awaiting to update all magnificent captures of the places.
