Ingredients:
Sago
/sabudana 1 cup
Full
cream milk 1 cup
Sugar
1/2 cup
Ghee
2 tea spoon
Water
A
pinch of cardamom powder
Saffron
strands 5-6 (optional)
Directions
to cook:
- Wash sago with enough water in a bowl. Drain all the water from sago and keep it aside for 4to 5 hours for soaking it.
- Take sago in pan and add 2 cups of water in pan.
- Cook sago kheer on low flame for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Add sugar, full cream milk to sago kheer and cook for another 6 to 7 minutes.
- Sprinkle cardamom powder and saffron strands on sago kheer and switch off gas.
- Pour spoon full of ghee and serve Sago kheer.
